Farewells not forevers

January 2nd, our official moving day, oh my, has time flown by. With all proper moves; farewell parties, thank you’s, hugs, laughter and memories are all apart of it.

Let’s get started with all the fun!

Our first party was at Sun King Brewery and I want to say “thank you, Ashley” for helping me set this up! We rented out the Barrel Hall and it was a perfect size for our open house. There was around 50-60 guests and we extended our time by another hour since we were having an amazing time.  The food was also catered by Sun King and was set up buffet style with a nacho bar and wings.  The staff did an amazing job and because of them the party ran flawless.

It was so nice seeing co-workers outside of work and have our closest friends make the trip to downtown Indy.

I have been working for 14 years in my current role and it is a bittersweet feeling to leave.  I truly adore and respect my co-workers and I’m extremely lucky to be working with one of the best physicians (in the world)!   To all of GLES, Thank you so much! It has been a rollercoaster of years but in the end I absolutely loved the ride! I will see you soon!

Scott’s team at his previous job had set up a wonderful afternoon full of margaritas and indoor golf at FW Golf House. Scott has been very proud of his team and after 13 years I know he will truly miss the “gang.”

To all of our friends that made the visit, thank you for showing so much love! Just like this post says, it is a farewell not a forever.  Scott and I will be traveling frequently to the states and I know we will plan to see everyone. Also, if anyone wants to come visit, don’t hesitate!

Picture time!

We were extremely grateful to have had a second party. My family had surprised us with an absolutely beautiful airbnb. We had so much fun playing pingpong, family feud, putt putt, gambling and laughing! I wish I Had taken more photos but I think that is a sign we were all having an amazing time! To my amazing parents, sister, uncles and cousins; Thank you, for planning the food, housing and games. We love you more than words can explain.

Scott and I want to say “Thank You” one more time to everyone who has wished us good luck in this new journey. Without our co-workers, scuba buddies, friends and family this new step would be a scary one.  Much love,

Ry
