Our First Liveaboard – Cayman Aggressor IV

After a number of dive trips across the Caribbean and a few reschedules, we finally made our maiden voyage on a liveaboard with Aggressor Liveaboards on the Cayman Aggressor IV. We were lucky enough to be invited into a close knit group of friends and filled the entire boat with Hoosiers. We all look relatively well behaved in this picture, but don’t let that fool you! Much fun was had by all aboard!

This post is mostly a collection of photos and videos from our various dives. We hope to share more complete travel reviews in the future as we travel and dive Southeast Asia.

I’ll start the sharing with a good laugh. I had a great video of turtle going here…that got turned into an even better hilarious photobomb!

On our previous trip with the group, Ryan and I watched a few people spend time in the sand and coral looking for teeny tiny critters. This trip we wanted to see what the fuss was about, so we followed and looked over shoulders and tried our hand at macro photography with our SportDiver and macro mode on the iPhone. We found an Elysia and a headshield slug and

Here’s a short video to show you just how mall these little critters are…

Our highlights could not be complete without a shout out to Amanda for finding an octopus at the end of one of our last dives. We missed our 60min mark to be back on the boat, and it was soooo worth it! You can see some more video highlights from the trip in the YouTube playlist at the end of the video.

I’ll wrap up with some more photo highlights as I long for the next chance to blow some bubbles.
